Hi, I am Lorraine McGinlay and I specialise in helping couples with relationship problems including separation and divorce, affairs as well as sexual issues, sexual dysfunctions, sexuality, long term health conditions, disabilities and depression.
I pride myself in providing a safe environment for counselling couples with relationship and sexual difficulties.
My practice is based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire but I see couples and individuals from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and London as well as Online sessions for those preferring to have a remote appointment.

I am a highly experienced sexual and relationship therapist working with individuals and couples from my private practice based in Hertfordshire. After a successful career in the civil service, I re-trained as a counsellor, qualifying as a Psychosexual Therapist, which I have been doing for over ten years. I apply my years of experience to helping clients overcome a wide range of issues.
The service I offer is built on the belief that everyone is unique, with their own personal view of the world, their own responses to different life events and their own reasons for considering counselling. In other words, the service is built around you as an individual. I am reluctant to list the ‘issues’ I deal with because that feels like putting the ‘problem’ ahead of the person. I believe the focus should be on who you are, what you need and how the difficulty you are experiencing is impacting you and your life.
